Earlier believed to represent Praxiteles it is now thought to represent Aphrodite. The original was sculptured by Scopas in the first century B.C.

The original was found damaged in the amphi theatre at Cupa and now resides in the National Museum at Naples.

Condition: Good with previous repair to the neck.
