Antique English mid Victorian period 1850s three tier Walnut Etagere / Whatnot Stand with drawer.

This is a very good example of a mid 19th century genuine antique English three tier Etagere / Display Stand / Whatnot Stand made from lovely honey coloured Walnut. The serpentine fronted shelves and the serpentine lower tier drawer front are all finished in selected decorative Walnut Burl. The top tier has a shaped three sided saw pierced timber gallery and the well turned vertical supports terminate in very nice urn shaped finials. The drawer has a pair of equally well turned knobs. The whole is supported on short turned and tapered legs which have their original all brass castor assemblies.

Condition: Excellent having been professionally refurbished about 20 years ago.

Price: $2,985 negotiable. Times have changed as we have the original ticket when sold by a Queen Street Woollahra dealer in the early 1990s for $4,995.
