This is a fine quality genuine antique Chinese later 1800s Rosewood Tabourette of square form raised on four tall legs with ‘semi’ animal paw feet.

The top is a square mitred frame which is profusely inlaid with stylised Mother of Pearl Vine and Leaf tracery and has a central square grey and white Marble inset panel.

The upper curved frieze is similarly inlaid as are the upper leg shoulders and a lower shelf while the lower frieze is saw pierce carved and is embellished with Mother of Pearl Cherry Blossom Flowers.

Condition: Near excellent for age.
