Pair of antique Japanese Meiji period Imari Vases converted into Lamps.

These are a quality, beautiful and substantial pair of genuine antique Japanese Table Lamps. The vases are from the Meiji period 1868 - 1912 and are from the Imari region due to the red and blue art work on a white ground. These were high quality vases as they feature raised figures of a lady with a fan and her female attendant. These are also a proper and correct pair of vases as the figures on both vases are opposed to each other.

The vases have been professionally converted by the inclusion of brass bulb holders, twisted silk covered leads plus turned and gilded timber lids and bases.

Condition: Excellent.
