This is typical of a genuine antique 19th century French delightfully painted urn shaped Vase being converted to an electric lamp in the 1920s or 30s and embellished by the addition of gilt bronze handles.The vase is brightly painted with a raised multi coloured bird, flowers, twigs and leaves.

Condition: Excellent for age and may be purchased and used as is however we offer the Lamp with a nicer brass bulb holder and with twisted silk covered cord which will look much more attractive. The metal may also be cleaned and polished.
