The generously sized “show timber’ frames are hand made from prestigious imported Central Mahogany and are of ‘classic Athenian’ influence with the curved back uprights flowing into the seat rails rather than continuing down into the rear saber legs. The curved back has a shaped and carved vertical splat The seat rails are curved on the sides and also on the front rail. The front legs are turned and downward tapered terminating in brass and white porcelain castor assemblies.

The chair frames are in very good condition commensurate with age and the upholstery needs to be recovered to taste.
