A fine quality set of four genuine antique English William IV Dining Chairs circa 1835 hand made by craftsmen from prestigious imported Central American Rosewood from Brazil. The ‘show timber frames’ showing the transition from rail backs to shaped ‘kidney’ backs. The top and uprights are reeded and the lower waist rail is embellished with quality carved apposed foliate scrolls. The seat rails are well shaped and profiled being serpentined on the sides and bowed at the front. The front turned legs are turned,tapered and reeded. The expensive red and green French horsehair upholstery with a brass studded finish is of superb quality and the whole are in extremely desirable condition.
