Italian Bronze Micro Mosaic Tazza

This is a heavy and high end quality collectable and decorative Antique / Vintage earlier 1900s Italian circular Bronze Tazza (bowl on a stand) with ‘twisted rope’ applied embellishments, engraved fern patterns between each of the six applied and raised medallions of Micro Mosaics with three featuring Insects and the other three featuring flowers. All raised on a circular shaped column and a plain flared circular base.

Micro mosaics comprise of unusually small pieces ( tesserae) of glass to make small figurative images.
