This is an excellent example of a genuine antique taxidermy head of an African Impala mounted on a superbly carved oval shaped Mahogany timber Shield.

We have had quotes from a cabinet maker and a wood carver to reproduce a similar shield for other heads that we have and they want over $2,000 just to custom reproduce the superb carved shield similar to this one.
