This is a fine example of a genuine antique English Georgian / Regency period sarcophagus shaped box crafted from prestigious imported Brazilian Rosewood of lovely colour and fine figuring then profusely decoratively embellished with inlaid Mother of Pearl panels It has typical finely beaded edge moldings of the period, timber ring handles at either end and is standing on small turned feet.

Provenance: Interior label for Fuller and Levet of Brownlow Street Holborn London. Also featured in the Disney Marvel film Shang Chi.

Condition: Excellent externally. The interior is original however can be relined with fabric or polished timber panels.
