This is a relatively rare item and a quality one at that. Please note the beaded / reeded molding to the top edge of the lid and the base of the Chest plus the Ogee shaped Bracket Feet.

The Chest has all the usual brass bindings, corner brackets and end carry handles to protect it from rough handling during military campaigns however a nice and uncommon touch is the inclusion of the brass plates to protect the bottom of the feet.

Condition: Over all excellent with only the lock having been replaced with timber.
