These are a most attractive antique or almost antique earlier 1900s nest of three tables in the later 1700s ‘classic’ Georgian manner The nest of graduated tables have shaped tops with serpentine shaped edge in the French Louis XV manner. plus have a curved edge molding. The tops are made from highly figured prestigious honey coloured Satinwood and the top table is decorated with hand painted central scene of two winged Cherubs with garlands of Roses on a cloud. All three table tops are then decorated with a band of stylised foliate scrolls and a string of pearls at either end. Each graduated table is supported at each end by a pair of full height elegantly turned slender columns which sit on shaped bases. The support brackets under the table tops ,upper and lower columns and the tapering feet of the bases are also decoratively embellished with colourful foliate art work.

Condition: Excellent commensurate with age and use.
