These are a very superior quality set of Vintage ( may be antique earlier 1900s late Qing Dynasty ) set of four ‘ Nest of Tables often referred to as a Quartetto of Tables each graduated in size so as to fit beneath the next largest table. Many nest of table sets only have three tables however this superior set has four tables.

These are rectangular in form and graduated in size. They are constructed from prestigious Rosewood. The frames are carved to simulate Bamboo and even have carved shoots at the nodes.The top panels are recessed so as to contain any spillage of drinks. All tables have lower three sided shaped support stretchers.

The framed front and side panels are exceptionally saw pierced carved in fine detail and feature opposed dragons surrounded by stylised clouds. The rear panels are also carved so as to compliment the front and side carved panels.

Condition: Near original excellent condition for age.
