This is a superior quality genuine antique English 19th century William IV period 1830-1837 Chess / Games Table / Side Table.

The table is rectangular in form and is superbly crafted from desirable and prestigious well figured imported Brazilian Rosewood.

The top has a stepped and curved edge molding and an inset Pietra Dura ( cut and fitted semi precious stones ) full sized Chess Board. The apron features a flush mounted full width concealed drawer and a lower split turned molding.

All supported on a pair if nicely turned columns on rectangular bases with carved and scrolled feet with original castor assemblies beneath.

Condition: Excellent for age.
