This is a spectacular genuine Antique English 19th century mid Victorian period circa 1855 circular tilt top centre pedestal tri form leg feature Centre Table - Breakfast / Supper Table - Dining Table.
The circular top tilts vertically if not required and the top is removable for easy transport or storage. The top is segmented into six sections each finished in figured Walnut radiating out from the centre and is parquetry inlaid with various coloured sample woods comprising a large central medallion and a very broard outer banding both comprising of a feature central panel and a very broard outer banding both featuring profuse floral designs blended with French Louis influenced āCā scrolls.
The centre column features a boldly shaped octagonal baluster shaped centre section and from the cylinder base flow three shaped and tapered cabriole legs in a tripod formation each with raised Acanthus carved knees and complimentary Acanthus carved scrolled feet each with the original all brass castor assemblies beneath.
Condition: Original untouched with some aged related imperfections which is to be expected and can be invisibly rectified..
