This is a very good genuine antique English early to mid Victorian period 1845 - 1855 circular Centre Table or Dining Table on a centre column and with a tri pod base

The circular top is finished in selected book leaf matched imported prestigious well figured and deep honey coloured Brazilian Rosewood. The top has a support apron with a lower raised molding.

The central column is made from solid Rosewood and is fluted as well as featuring boldly carved high quality leaf embellishments.

From the cylindrical base flow three carved and ‘S’ shaped scrolled legs in tripod formation which terminate with upward scrolled toes with the original all brass castor assemblies beneath.

This table top is fixed and doesn’t tilt as some do however the top unscrews for easy removal and transporting.

Condition: Very good as is.

Size: Width 117cm x Height 69cm….. can be easily raised if required.

Price: Should be $2,000 / $2,500 however our seller says sell for $1,750.

Sellers Observation: A fraction of the price they sold for in the later 1900s and a fraction of the price of getting one made today.
