This is a very good example and highly decorative genuine antique English Georgian later Regency period / George IV period circa 1820 Console Table in its original untouched condition.

The rectangular back board has a mirrored panel within a Rosewood frame. There is a rectangular full width shelf embellished with a pierced three sided brass gallery and the shelf is supported by a pair of turned columns.

The shallow frieze section is rectangular and finished in prestigious imported Brazilian Rosewood. and has an original white marble top. the frieze is s supported at the front by bold and impressive full height carved embellished French Louis XV influence ‘S’ scrolled cabriole like supports. At the rear is a large Rosewood framed panel of mirrored plate. The gilt front supports and rear mirrored panel sit on a flat shaped plinth base also finished in Rosewood.

Condition: Offered in good overall commensurate with age and use as is condition. Any work required to taste can be organised on your behalf. If a buyer prefers that the mirror plates that are full of character however are in a deteriorated condition we can have them replace at a cost to us basis. so allow about 2 weeks.
