This is a ‘top tier’ very fine quality genuine antique English 19th century Victorian period circa 1855 mirror back, marble top, Walnut Credenza featuring the popular French Louis XV design influences.

The credenza is in three sections comprising of 1/. a tall arched mirrored back set in a solid well profiled solid Walnut show timber frame with exceptional decorative crest carvings and lower side carvings. 2/. a white with grey veining serpentine shaped marble top with a lamb tongue edge molding. 3/. a lower shaped storage cabinet finished in selected very well figured honey coloured Walnut with a wide central door and angled side doors with all doors having arched mirrored centre panels with raised moldings and impressive top crest decorative carvings plus shelves within. Between the centre door and the side doors are well shaped full height engaged pilasters with quality decorative carved foliate scroll work embellishments. The whole sits on a protruding serpentine shaped plinth base which compliments the shape of the marble top. Complete with key.
