This is a very good ‘classic’ style genuine antique English earlier 1800s Georgian Regency period. Console Table which may be used in a lounge room, Dining Room entrance vestibule or in a hall way so is very versatile.

The console table is finished in prestigious imported Brazilian Rosewood The raised rectangular gallery shelf has a three sided brass pierced gallery and the shelf is supported with elegant turned columns. The rectangular frieze section has a white marble top and is supported on a pair of bold full height shaped, carved embellished and gilded cabriole supports with scrolled Acanthus leaves at the top and upward ‘French’ scrolled toes at the bottom. The whole stands on a shaped plinth base. At the rear of both the top and lower section of the console is the original mercury silvered mirror plate now with character through age.

Condition: Over all very good commensurate with its age and use except for the silvering on the mirrors. At a reasonable cost we can have the mirrors replaced and if required we can have the gilding and woodwork professionally refurbished.
