This is a relatively rare item and a quality one at that. Please note the beaded / reeded perimeter molding to the top of the lid and the base of the Chest plus the shaped Ogee Feet.

The Chest has all the usual brass bindings, corner brackets and end positioned carry handles to protect it from rough handling during Military campaigns however a nice and unusual touch are the inclusion of the brass plates under the feet

Condition: Over all excellent with only the lock having been replaced with timber.
