This is a highly decorative and practical adjustable height Vintage earlier 1900s French Standard lamp / Floor Lamp to add character to a room with mood lighting.Mostly cast and wrought brass it is finished in very decorative Louis Xv manner Pressed Brass mask heads and foiate leaf scrolls.

The central column is adjustable. The brass has been polished and lacquered decades ago and the finish is now more aged and mellowed. Also the Lamp has been rewired in recent times with a twisted silk covered lead. The lamp should be adjustable however seems restricted by the existing wiring so a recommended rewire by an electrician should allow for greater height adjustment. Also rewiring of old lamps is always a good idea for safety reasons.
