A long set of Twelve ( 12 ) English Antique Dining Chairs in the Georgian 18th century manner.

A$2,500.00

These are a stylish very hard to find rare long set of twelve vintage English solid Mahogany Dining Chairs made in the 1920s ( so now considered as antique ) and made in the manner of a style of Georgian chairs from the earlier 1700s.

The chairs were all plain Mahogany however one was weather damaged which we had the frame restored however the colour was now different so we decided to have some fun and make the chairs much more stylish.

On this sample chair the vertical back ‘splat’ has been veneered in a contrasting well figured Oak burl veneer and the frame has been painted black however we offer them for sale all with a smart hand polished black lacquer finish. The seat lifts out and can be easily upholstered to taste in either a traditional or a contemporary fabric.

These chairs would look very smart in a contemporary / modern setting.

Size: Width 46cm x Depth 43cm x Height 105cm.

Price: The set of 12 may be purchased for only $2,500 ‘as is’ or for $795 per chair frame (plus fabric) once refurbished as per the sample in the image and to be offered as a set of 12 chairs which is less than the cost of comparable modern mass factory produced reproductions.

Sellers Observations: These are a stylish set of chairs which design transcends time and would be equally at home in a formal antique setting or in a more contemporary setting even suit a contemporary black lacquered table or would look great around a glass top table.
