The chairs are transitional in style so would go well with both earlier Georgian furniture or with Victorian style. The chairs are made from craftsmen from the finest prestigious imported Central American Mahogany of lovely colour and figuring and due to the weight indicate Cuban Mahogany which was the best of the best.

The chairs feature a ‘bar back’ in the form of a curved and shaped top rail with a raised top molding. the uprights are curved and reeded. The seat rails are well profiled and the front legs are superbly turned featuring an inverted bundle of reeds with a ring turning for a tie and flared at the bottom of the reeding. The rear legs are of elegant sable legs.

Condition: Rock solid well figured and nicely coloured frames, recently upholstered webbed and padded seats with a quality green and cream striped fabric.
