This is a quality and genuine antique French Bergere Chair ( chair with enclosed arms) / Lounge Chair. The nicely shaped and well carved ‘show timber’ frame is made from quality French Walnut of lively colour. The chair has a serpentine front seat rail and curved side rails and the shaped hand grips flow down into the front cabriole legs which are complete with their white porcelain and brass castor assemblies.

The chair is extremely comfortable to sit in and has been recently correctly upholstered in an expensive fabric.
