This is an exceptionally high quality genuine antique English William IV ( 1830 - 1837 ) adjustable height Piano Chair / Stool superbly crafted from solid imported prestigious Brazilian Rosewood. The revolving chair has an upholstered seat and an elaborate show timber Rosewood back frame in the French Louis XV manner with an inset upholstered panel. The central support column is very nicely turned and features a boldly carved bulbous turning plus a lower ring collar. above the base. The base comprises of a flat quadruped base with curved sides and a shaped edge molding which has four well carved feet with French scrolled toes.assemblies beneath.

Condition: Structurally sound and the timber and polish are in excellent for age. The basic upholstery is good however the original silk and embroidery needle work cover requires replacing to taste.
