Antique English 19th century panelled Oak Coffer.

This is a very good decorative and practical genuine antique English 19th century solid Oak lift lidcoffer made in the 17th century manner and which is ideal for storing logs by a fireplace ski gear doonas or whatever as it is a very versatile storage unit and would sit well in many rooms of the house from the entrance vestibule or hallway lounge room or bedroom.

This coffer is of solid Oak frame and panel construction with mortise and tenon joints which are secured by pegs. Both the top and front have three complimentary recessed panels and the top rail features decorative null carving. The whole stands on stile legs / feet

Condition: Excellent.
