This is a fine example of a quality and genuine antique French !9th Century Louis Phillipe tilt top Wine Table / Lamp Table / Occasional Table, hand crafted in prestigious, imported, Central American Brazilian Rosewood selected for its distinctive decorative figuring and excellent rich honey colour..

The segmented tilt top is 16 sided ( referred to as a hexadecagon ) and has a large central panel of stylised floral and foliate marquetry inlay with a broard outer Rosewood border. The solid Rosewood centre support column is very slender and elegant and has a a large ‘beaded’ embellished centre turning. The flat legs are shaped and in triform configeration.

Condition: Excellent original.
