This is a very desirable and rather rare, excellent quality example of a genuine, antique English, 18th Century, Georgian tilt top Wine Table / Centre Table / Tea Table / Occasional Table. The top is desirably made from a wide, single solid piece of well figured and mellow coloured imported and prestigious Central American Mahogany and was totally handmade by experienced craftsmen circa 1775. The wide very desirable one piece top is not only scalloped but also has a raised pie crust edge molding which is part of the top and not later applied..The well turned central column finishes with a short upright cylindrical base which has a tri formation of shaped (cabriole) legs with decorative proud standing foliate carved knee embellishments and terminate in very nicely carved slender ball and claw feet.

Condition: The whole is in excellent for age previously conserved condition.

This is an outstanding and world class example of this type of table.
