George III Mahogany Pembroke Table

A lovely Pembroke table of serpentine form, made in mahogany with satinwood crossbanding and oak draw linings. This example is faded & a little bit battered, just as you'd expect a table that's been around for 230 years or so to be. The table is complete, once it has had a few minor repairs to the veneer and a very careful wax finish it will look amazing.

We do not restore furniture before putting it on to the showroom floor anymore as it is too expensive. I believe it is much nicer to look at a piece un-restored and our clients love getting involved in the restoration process with the conservators, it's a great way of learning about the value of beautiful antique furniture.
